The i-Pahang vision is to be the ideal ICT gateway or the East Coast by innovating and integrating ICT to enhance digital, mind and economic inclusion.

i-Pahang is about attaining the mind shift to a culture in which the States priority is to invest in the minds of all its 1.4 million people(and growing) to enable them to deliver the new emerging industries, transform existing industries and path the direction towards unimagined routes and discovery to promote better life for current and future generation.

 3. Where are the Cybercentre of Pahang?

Putra Square

Developer        :           PASDEC & Jasa Imani
Size                  :           75,000 sf(17 unit)
Availability      :           2007
Phase 2 comprise of 22- storeys office tower available in 2009

Cybercentre at Putra Square purposely built for SME ICT and Technoprenuers. The building is designed for small offices with shared facilities(meeting room, receptionist etc.)

Tanjung Lumpur

Availability      :           2008

 Cybercentre at Tanjung Lumpur caters for bigger ICT enterprises which require their own building and larger workforce.

Gambang

Integrated Content:
  • Encompasses companies owning and providing media and media metadata, including music and movies, text publications of any kind, ownership of standards, geographic data & metadata about all or any and the above.
  • Promotes integrated content for industrial & infotainment purposes as well as the digitisation and creation of Islamic materials.
Defence Technology & Communications:
  • Manufacturing of advanced technologies integrated into usable systems in support of national defence capabilities to provide secure communication links and overall added national security.
  • Supports Strong air force presence in Pahang (ie: Malaysian Royal Air Force base and Pekan defence automotive industries)
Education Content & Applications:            
  • Content, applications and tools developed for the overall purpose of optimizing the ICT impact in the education sector for improved teaching and learning.
  • Leverages of strong Institute of Higher Learnings (IHLs) presence and existing efforts of  Yayasan Pahang and The Pahang Skills Development Corporation.
Agro – Biotechnology:            
  • Biotechnology encompasses any technological application that uses biological systems, living organism or derivatives thereof, to make or modify products or processes for specific use.
  • Promotes agro-biotechnology specifically for agriculture products, bioinformatics and halal industries.
 Logistic & Data Services:
  • Encompasses shared service  partnerships with external service providers via date centres used to house mission critical computer systems and associated components.
  • Also includes environmental controls ( air conditioning, fire suppression etc.)
  • Focuses on development of Shared Service Operator(SSO) hub for the energy sector (petrochemical).
