Manufactured and marketed by Nike, the iPod Sport Kit has wireless sensors attached to the shoes can monitor your exercise novelties in the iPod. You need to insert the sensor into the sole of the shoe and then the receiver plugged into the dock. The iPod Touch and the iPod 3G don’t require the receivers too.

As you run, jog or walk the sensor tracks the distance, time, speed and amount of calories burnt by you in the activity. Real time controls can even give you feedback when you achieve certain milestones. When you return from a workout you can feed the data in the Nike website monitoring and setting goals for yourself and even challenging others from around the globe! The kit requires an iPod (Nano, Touch 2G or 3GS), USB 2.0 port, Windows/Mac operating system, a Nike account and of course the shoes. Start running!
