An iPad these days is more of a necessity than a luxury. And with the iPad comes the need for an iPad case. Other than enjoying the beautiful features of the iPad we also should protect it from dirt, scratches, bumps, other external elements that might cause harm to it. Next the question comes as to what are the types of cases available in the market and which one would suit one’s need and style.

First we have the hard-shell cases, the most basic case for an iPad. Made out of plastic mainly protect the back and sides of the device. Next we have the grip cases made out of a material called TPU. It is extremely flexible and is very easy to grip. The folio type cases look like a traditional binder in which the iPad is cased. They also protect the screen when not in use. Other majorly available cases are sleeve cases, zipper cases, skins and waterproof cases.
